  • KAMAKURA, JAPAN, 16 SEPTEMBER -  The Horseback Archery -Yabusame, a mounted traditional Japanese archery - is an automn festival of in Tsurugaoka Hachimangu-.  In april and september, it is performed along the main approach to the shrine. An archer, wearing traditional 13th Century clothing, on a running horse shoots three arrows successively at three wooden targets.  Tsurugaoka Hachimangu  the most important temple of Kamakura was founded 1063 and inlarge by Minato Yorimoto, the first Shogun of Kamakura period - september 2012

  • Le dernier jour du mariage est marqué par les coutumes de retour qui clôturent les cérémonies.<br />
Le clan de la femme répartit les dons reçus en un nombre de parts égales en fonction de chaque famille et de chaque clan présent. Ainsi, chaque personne qui aura participé aux dons en entrant dans le mariage, repartira avec une part de contre-don.<br />
Selon une répartition aléatoire vers les personnes, les parts comprennent des ignames ou des pièces de viande, des produits de consommation, les robes mission de l’épouse qui se trouvaient dans la valise, et une part égale en argent. Chaque membre des clans est appelé selon un ordre correspondant à son statut et à son rang dans les clans et dans la société.<br />

  • Entrée d’un clan de la tribu de Xodre à l’intérieur de la tribu de Huiwatrul par voie coutumière détournée.<br />
Afin de rejoindre le clan de l’homme et de sceller les liens du mariage, le clan de la femme doit suivre les chemins coutumiers intergénérationnels. Une « grand-mère » du clan avait ouvert cette voie deux générations auparavant en se mariant avec un homme de cette tribu. De ce fait, la voie directe est impossible pour rejoindre le clan de l’homme. Le clan de la femme doit procéder à une étape en suivant le chemin de cette première union, dont la descendance devient le porteur de la Parole.<br />

  • La femme s’offre à la mère de son époux sous le regard des hommes. Ce moment marque l’instant précis du mariage qui lie les liens des deux clans. La femme quitte son clan pour rejoindre celui de son mari. Elle revêt alors sa future « maman » d’une robe et lui offre un sac dans lequel se trouvent les outils qui serviront à son travail de femme et d’épouse.   • Lors des échanges coutumiers, l’argent circule de main en main depuis le porte-parole vers les ainés du clan. Chacun fait mine de le refuser pour qu’il soit attribué à un autre. Lorsqu’il est accepté par une personne, l’argent sera quoi qu’il en soit redistribué. Lorsque l’argent est donné en coutume, il semble ne plus avoir de valeur vénale, mais il devient le symbole de la transmission de la Parole.<br />

Lorsqu’un mariage est prévu dans la tribu, le clan de l’époux fait tout d’abord « passer la paille » pour que tous les clans alliés se réunissent à une certaine date autour du chef de clan. Ils offrent alors une participation en argent afin de rassembler un don suffisant pour faire la demande de mariage, c’est-à-dire « réserver » ou « attacher la main » de la femme auprès de son clan et de ses oncles maternels. Une comptabilité stricte permet de répartir l’argent qui sera réservé au chef de clan ou aux oncles maternels qui feront la demande à la femme, ainsi qu’à sa famille.<br />

  • Échanges coutumiers lors d’une danse d’entrée du clan de la femme chez le clan de l’homme. Les jeunes garçons ou les jeunes filles font leur démonstration de danse face à l’autre clan. Les adultes, ou parfois des jeunes, les rejoignent dans cette danse en leur offrant des étoffes et de l’argent. C’est le tout premier contact entre les clans amorçant le tissage de leur lien.<br />

  • Lorsque le clan de l’homme apporte la valise de l’épouse comprenant les robes et l’argent qui seront redistribués dans le clan de la femme, des échanges coutumiers d’étoffes et d’argent se font au moment des danses liant les membres des deux clans. <br />

  • Lorsque les clans ont lié leur alliance dans le mariage, ils déposent une coutume au Grand-Chef du district de Lössi ou à son représentant. La cérémonie se passe dans la Grande Case de Mu, symbole de tous les clans de la Grande-Chefferie. Le père du marié prononce alors la Parole annonçant l’union au Grand-Chef.
