TOKYO, JAPAN, 1 SEPTEMBER - Roppongi - Exhibition GUTAI, The Spirit of an Era - Atsuko Tanaka's ?Electric Dress? is one of the representative works from Gutai's early period. The Abstract artist, Jiro Yoshihara founded the movement in Ashiya, Hyogo Prefecture in 1954 and draft the Gutai Manifesto in 1956 - This retrospective is the second exhibition of that mouvement in Tokyo. First was in 1955 - National Art Center - Kisho Kurokawa architect & associates - September 2012
