Yashamon gate - Taiyuin byo Mausoleum -Rinnoji

JAPAN, NIKKO - August 2012 - The bell and drum tower near the third gate Yashamon. the Taiyuin byo in the Rinnoji, the mausoleum of Tokugawa Iemitsu (the third shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate) built by one of the top architects at the time. Rinno-ji became the temple where memorial services were held for Iemitsu, and it enjoyed the close protection of the Tokugawa shogunate.site calssified as Japanese Cultural property and world heritage by UNESCO [FR] La porte Yashamon du mausolée Taiyuin, ou Taiyuinbyo, est consacré à Iemitsu, le troisième shogun Tokugawa. Il fut construit à proximité du sanctuaire Toshogu, rendant hommage à l'architecture de ce dernier. Site classé propriete culturelle du Japon et patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO
