A Miko, Shrine Maide or Shaman woman, is a young woman who assist the shrine, perform ceremonial dance - Miko-mai or Miko-kagura, offer Omikuji fortune tell. A Miko wears a pair of Hakama - long divided trousers, a white Haori - Kimono Jacket symbol of purity. In the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu the most important temple of Kamakura, The miko wears sometime purpple Hakama - september 2012
